The Simcoe location of Ontario West Insurance Brokers got its start in the early eighties. A start up by Dan Hill, operating as D. Hill Real Estate & Insurance Brokers, operated until 1994 when the current owner Kirby Shieck purchased the brokerage. In 1997, we partnered with O’Grady Insurance Brokers creating O’Grady & Associates Insurance Services Inc. During this period we enjoyed a solid growth servicing the Simcoe area. It has been since joining Ontario West Insurance Brokers in 2015 that we have truly blossomed.
Today, the Simcoe location has a staff of 10 and a customer base stretching from the shores of Lake Erie to east of Toronto and everywhere in between. Our growth is a direct result of the capable and knowledgeable brokers that make it a priority to get to know and understand our customers. Advice is job one, good advice leads to strong growth and as such, we consider ourselves an advice organization, not simply a sales team.
